The last time we saw Denis O’Hare (Russell Edgington), his True Blood character was supposed to be stuck in cement for 100 years. While the King of Mississippi is stuck for now, the actor who plays him is most certainly not. In addition to his work on True Blood, O’Hare has also been a reoccurring face on CBS’ The Good Wife. And now the news has come out that the actor has been cast in a new pilot.
The show American Horror Story was conceived by Glee creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The details of the pilot’s plot remains under wraps. But O’Hare is set to play Larry the Burn guy and shooting will commence after Glee wraps for the season. Whether this potencial new series will conflict with any possible plans to bring the actor back to True Blood, we don’t know. But as we reported earlier this week, Russell Edgington won’t stay trapped forever!
